The Oxford Golf and Country Club was commenced in the summer of 2005. This is an 18 hole golf course designed by Pacific Coast Design, Melbourne, Australia. It is set in the outskirts of Pune, in Sus village, which adjoins the Pune-Mumbai highway. The Golf course is part of the Knowledge City Campus, which houses the Flame University. The course was constructed on hilly terrain, which involved huge amounts of rock cutting. However on completion it is a golf course with truly spectacular views and challenging holes. The course is complete and will be open for active play in May 2009.
